Au Clocher de Montmartre

Last weekend I had planned to meet up with some friends. The only thing was where? Seeing as I am trying to discover new and interesting places in Paris we decided to try out a little resto that had several good write up's.

The journey started at Metro Lamarck-Caulaincourt. After climbing the 109 (yes I counted) steps up from the station I ventured my way along the Lamark road for about ten minutes.

I came across the restaurant that is ...

The restaurant is small  but cosy, decorated in a contemporary retro chic style with some personalized details.

Having reserved in advance we had a great seat looking out over Paris. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great so you didn't get to see much.

They do not have a fixed lunch time menu so you have the same choice as you would in the evening for dinner.

For starters I had...

Here is what some of my friends had for starters. A pumpkin soup and a crispy prawn salad...

I then had for my main course Stuffed onions with beef knuckle, Basmati rice with red cabbage and citrus fruit combava...

Which was all really very yummy.

A good restaurant to go in the evening after a romantic stroll around Monmartre.

Starters are between 7- 13 euros
Main courses are between 14-25 euros
