Not so long ago some friends came over from London for a long weekend. One of them was celebrating her 30th Birthday. To celebrate the occasion we wanted to go somewhere where we could have a nice meal and party in a nice setting. A great place to go would of been at the Bizz'Art, however I had been so many time before I wanted to try something new.We decided to book a table at the Bus Pallidum. None of us had been before so we thought it would be a good idea to give it a try. We were not disappointed, the decor was on point and so was the service. It was decorated in a vintage chic style that gave it all a great sexy, relaxed vibe. I espically loved the funky bathroom with it's beautiful flowery wallpaper and the original roll top bath as a sink. We had a great table, I would say the best table in the house. The menu offered a good selection of dishes (usual Paris prices between 8 - 11 euros for starters and 15-25 euros for mains), nothing overly exciting but still good. I ordered a toasted chevre salad for starters and the classic Tartare de boeuf for mains. I was very impressed with the Tartare, it was one of the best I had ever had, yummy. We drank rose through out the meal and ended with coffee and cakes. After that we headed downstairs to the nightclub/concert area and danced the night away. I would definitely recommend the Bus Palladium for a good night out on the town.
